Rules And Regulations

       THE DAIRY:

 

1. The diary must be maintained carefully and brought to school daily.

2. Parents are requested to sign the diary every day and ensure that their children do their homework regularly.

      DISCIPLINE:

The Principal can, in the interest of the school and without assigning any reason, ask a parent to remove a student, at or previous to the end of the current term, should the student's conduct, behavior or influence, in the Principal's opinion, be in any way detrimental to the principles of the school, or should he/she seem unable or unwilling to profit by the educational advantages of the school.

     RULES OF CONDUCT:

1. From time to time, the Principal will issue instructions in writing or verbally at assembly or in any class or at any time and all students are bound by such instructions. Disobeying such instructions, written or oral will amount to misconduct and the Principal can take stern action including rusticating/expelling the student from the school.

2. Surprise bag checks will be conducted as a preventive measure. If any student is found in possession of any of the prohibited items, it will be treated as an act of misconduct and the Principal will take stern action including rusticating/expelling the student from the school. In case of emergency, the child can use the school telephone to contact parents with the permission of the school authorities.

3. Teasing, bullying, beating up, victimizing, or ragging of any kind, of student is strictly banned by the school and is a criminal offence, punishable by the law. If any student is found guilty of the same, the Principal will immediately rusticate and expel the student from the school and hand over the case to the police.

4. Students are expected to refrain from the use of foul language, from the reading of obscene literature, from attending or participating in any entertainment not approved of by the school, and from wearing unbecoming attire.

5 Dnyanvardhini English Medium School is a co-educational Institution. Boys and girls are expected to conduct themselves in the classroom and on the campus properly and decently and with due regard to the cultural standard of the school. The conduct of a student towards the opposite sex must be above reproach and in conformity with the best traditions of society. Any attempt to malign the name of a girl/boy, to humiliate, to ridicule, or to harass her/him in any way will Invite serious disciplinary action.

6. Dnyanvardhini English Medium School is a secular school. We teach our children the value of respect and tolerance for all religions. Every child is expected to participate in all our activities irrespective of sex, caste, or religion. Our emphasis Is on value education through not only co-curricular and extracurricular activities but also our physical fitness lessons and academic subjects.

7. The Staff room, the staff washroom, and washrooms of the opposite gender are OUT OF BOUNDS for all students.
 

RULES OF CONDUCT:

DO:

Follow school regulations regarding uniform during school hours and also when traveling to and from school.

Show courtesy and respect to all, both in and out of school.

Report breakages to the Class Teacher.

Keep the school premises including classrooms neat and tidy, and maintain hygiene in the bathrooms.

DON'T:

Leave books at home or bring the wrong books to school.

Run or shout in the school corridors/staircase.

Eat on the staircase or in the corridors.

Leave the school premises without informing the Principal.

RECOMMENDATIONS TO PARENTS:

Parents must ensure:

  • The School Leaving Certificate of the previous school is submitted to the School Office within a month of joining.

  • Children come to school regularly, punctually, and neatly dressed.

  • Children wear their complete uniform every day to school.

  • Articles like school bags, tiffin boxes, water bottles, swimsuits, and caps, sweaters etc. are labeled with the child's full name.

  • Tiffins etc. to be delivered to the children are left at the Reception office.

  • Children must be instructed to collect their tiffin boxes from the Reception office. They cannot be delivered to the class.

  • Children maintain their textbooks and exercise books well and bring bring it to school as required.

  • Children do their homework regularly.

  • Children do not go out for entertainment or parties during weekdays.

  • They see, read, and sign the remarks made by the teachers in the School Diary.

  • They use the School Diary as a communication tool to communicate with the School authorities.

  • They go through the books and answer papers of their children from time to time.

  • When writing to the school regarding their children, mention must be made of the name, standard, and division of the child.

  • They inform the School about any change of address, telephone number, or Email ID.

  • They telephone the School only between 8.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. (Monday to Friday) on the number 9168119640. Please note First/Third

  • Saturday is OFF.

  • They do not send presents to teachers.

  • They do not meet their children or the teachers during class hours without the permission of the Principal.

  • They avoid any kind of arguments with the Security Personnel. The safety and security of all our children are of prime importance to us. Security personnel have therefore been Instructed not to allow anyone Into the school premises without approval from the School Office.

  • In the event of emergencies such as bandhs, riots, floods, etc., please use your o discretion and decide whether to send your child to school. Should the emergency occur after school has begun, please ensure that you come personally to school to collect your child. The School cannot take the risk of sending your child with an other person. At times like these, it becomes humanly impossible for our off-staff to answer telephone calls from so many parents.
